System requirements

AgentWalk targets macOS 26+, iOS 26+, and iPadOS 26+. The Mac development build is tested on Apple Silicon. Apple Pencil features need a compatible iPad and Pencil. Your coding agent is installed and configured separately. Apple’s optional local model needs supported and enabled Apple Intelligence; Ollama and LM Studio need an available model server.

Start from Control Center

Install and launch AgentWalk once, then add Record with AgentWalk from Control Center’s controls gallery. On Mac, choose Edit Controls; on iPhone or iPad, choose Add a Control.

Mac: the control opens AgentWalk and starts a new session using your saved display and microphone settings, subject to system permissions.
iPhone and iPad: the control opens the broadcast flow. Tap the system broadcast button, choose Start Broadcast, then switch to the app you want to review. Stop with the system recording indicator and return to AgentWalk to import the session.
You can also hold Apple’s built-in Screen Recording control, choose AgentWalk, and start the broadcast there.

Apple Pencil annotations on iPad

Use Apple Pencil to mark up an in-app web walkthrough while recording, or pause a recording and annotate the frame during review. Set how long a review annotation appears; saved marks are included in the exported video. For recordings of other apps, add annotations during review—AgentWalk cannot place a drawing overlay above another app.

Create Linear tickets

Choose Create Linear tickets to prepare a handoff for your coding agent’s Linear connection. On Mac, the review editor also lets you edit findings, choose screenshots, select a destination, and publish through the native Linear connection. Screenshots can be selected without a vision model. Review the destination and evidence before publishing.

For an agent handoff, your agent must already have the needed Linear access. A prepared handoff is not a published ticket; check the returned issue links or import the agent’s receipt. For the Mac native route, connect Linear and choose the workspace and team. If a publish has an uncertain result, inspect the saved issue links and recovery state before retrying.

Gemini native video ingestion

On Mac, enable Analyze video with Gemini in the handoff panel for Work on recording or Create Linear tickets. Add your API key in Settings → Gemini video + audio. Saving the key does not turn uploads on; enable analysis explicitly.

AgentWalk sends the edited MP4 with audio and your written context to Google before launching your chosen agent. Gemini supplies analysis; the coding agent performs the implementation or creates the issues. The original video and evidence stay available for verification. See Google’s video understanding guide for the provider’s capabilities and limitations. The mobile app does not expose the Gemini analysis settings; continue on Mac to use that workflow.

If analysis fails, retry explicitly or turn Gemini off to continue with the original evidence. Your own Google API account, data terms, usage limits, and charges apply. Create your API key through Google AI Studio; see Google’s API billing guide for account setup and usage charges. Remove the key in Settings to disable future uploads.

Move between your devices

Choose the same iCloud Drive folder in the mobile library and Mac’s Settings → Across your devices. Finish recording and editing, then sync. Keep the app open while large files copy, and allow iCloud time to upload and download. Local deletion does not remove the shared history; manage shared copies separately.

Sending evidence to your agent

Mac desktop handoffs open a draft and copy native files: paste, review the attachments, and send. Mobile handoffs use native sharing, Files, and supported agent links; you may need to attach the movie separately. The mobile export contains the annotated video and written request. Continue on Mac for its full transcript and visual-evidence bundle.

Pricing and your existing tools

AgentWalk does not require a subscription or an inference-credit balance. The initial release will be free, followed by a one-time purchase. Third-party coding agents and Linear retain their own plans and limits. Optional Gemini analysis can incur Google API charges. Local preparation needs no Gemini key or paid coding-agent plan.

Capture, transcription, or local-model errors

Review Screen Recording and Microphone permissions in your device’s settings. On Mac, check the transcription language and model; speech assets may need downloading. For Ollama or LM Studio, verify the configured server and model are available. Source evidence remains available if optional AI processing fails.

Report a problem without sharing private work

Start with the error message and reproduction steps. You do not need to send a recording of private work. If a visual example helps, use a small synthetic reproduction and review it before emailing.
